Pitusa (pronounced Pi-tu-sa) means funny little girl in Spanish, and is designer and founder Clara Lago’s childhood nickname. The label was founded in 2010 using the finest Peruvian cottons, using a vibrant colour palette and signature Inca trim, Pitusa employs women owned ateliers, based in Peru, who have been working with cotton for generations. The cotton is handpicked, woven, and dyed under ethical and fair trade working conditions and Clara is committed to delivering comfort and happiness through her designs. Her colourful dresses became an instant must-have for sun worshippers and beach bums across the globe.
